Our Goals
Throughout the development and establishment of our clinic, we have the following goals in mind to best support cats in need, their humans, and our staff.
Goals for owned cats, foster/rescue cats, and strays/ferals in need:
Provide affordable and accessible, quality veterinary care.
Provide a feline-only, quiet clinic environment for diagnostics, treatment, and healing/rehabilitation (no barking/howling dogs!)
Provide medical financial aid opportunities, such as grants and sponsorships, to owners facing severe financial hardship.
Provide other services, such as grief counseling, to owners and others impacted by grief/loss of a feline companion.
Become a Fear-Free Certified Veterinary Hospital.
Become a certified Cat Friendly Practice via the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP).
Goals for veterinary professionals on our team:
Harbor a drama-free, healthy work environment.
Offer a healthy work-life balance for all staff.
Offer competitive financial compensation.
Provide financial support for staff to obtain mental health support services.
Provide Fear-Free Handling Certification.
Goals for cats at public animal shelters:
Utilize our in-house laboratory testing equipment to run diagnostics (bloodwork, etc.) for cats currently housed in public animal shelters, to assist shelter staff in accurately diagnosing their feline residents to make them more appealing to adopters and rescues.
